"Berry Rush" is a
flash game that features Strawberry Shortcake, a cute red-haired girl, who runs
through Berry Bitty City to collect items while avoiding obstacles. Strawberry
Shortcake used to be a greeting card character by American Greetings in the
late 70s. It has then evolved into toys and animated shows, the latest shown in
2010 titled "Strawberry Shortcake's Berry Bitty Adventures." The game is developed by MiniClip and

You need to collect fruits
which you'll need to bake cakes and coins so you can unlock new costumes, get
animal companions or other characters. You now change
characters as it is unlocked: Cherry Jam, Orange Blossom, Blueberry Muffin,
Lemon Meringue, Raspberry Torte, Plum Pudding and Huckleberry Pie are here.
Each character has its own set of outfits. Its controls are similar to endless
running games but with a twist: there are cakes that need to be baked and sold
for money. The recipes can be altered and designed differently. The graphics
are very beautiful and the music upbeat. The game seems to have been designed
with young girls in mind, after all, Strawberry Shortcake and her friends are
girls.
The downside to this game is
that you'll have to play it for a long time to reach your objectives. It cannot
be played offline when on desktop. If you have played Temple Run on mobile,
you'd know how to play this game. Sometimes you have to ride rainbows, jump off
flowers, and catch butterfly for power-ups to break the monotony of running
through the city. The game is also available on mobile.
